The instant torque of an electric motor makes towing tempting: it pulls away strongly, smoothly, even loaded. But before dreaming of silent holidays, there is a reality to face: range.

Torque yes, range beware

An electric motor delivers all its torque immediately, ideal for getting a caravan moving uphill. The flip side: towing can easily halve your range, and few chargers are reachable without unhitching. Planning charging stops becomes a real part of the trip.

Check the towing capacity
