The site is published, written and maintained by Jérémy Vaucher as a personal project. The simplest contact is email:
I read every message. I usually reply within 2 to 5 days, sometimes a bit more in summer or during heavy ingestion batches. No form here, because I do not want to multiply personal-data collection points: an email is the cleanest channel.
When to write (and what really helps)
To report a wrong figure
This is the most useful kind of message. Where possible, mention:
- the brand, model, engine and year concerned;
- the value shown on the page that looks wrong (e.g. « GTW 2,300 kg »);
- the value you believe to be correct and, ideally, the official source that made you doubt (manufacturer PDF, V5C logbook field, etc.).
I systematically cross-check against the manufacturer PDF before correcting. If the correction is confirmed, the change goes live within a few days, with a public trace in the migrations history.
To suggest a missing model
Coverage grows in batches: a missing model is not an oversight, just not done yet. Suggestions are welcome, especially with:
- the exact generation (e.g. « Peugeot 3008 II 2016-2023 » rather than just « 3008 »), because towing figures vary strongly across generations;
- an official source if you have one (link to the manufacturer spec sheet or photo of the matching V5C), which speeds things up a lot.
For a practical towing question
If you hesitate between two cars, or want to know whether your car/caravan combo is safe, I can give a quick view based on the site figures and your situation (loaded caravan weight, type of trip, frequency). I am not a dealer or a towbar installer though: for a specific towball, wiring or type-approval question, ask a certified professional.
What I do not do
- No commercial partnerships or affiliate links. No product or brand is highlighted in exchange for money. Comparatives rely purely on published figures.
- No database reselling. The data structure and compilations belong to the publisher. For third-party use, contact me first.
- No commercial mailing. No newsletter, no promotional email: your address is only used to reply to your message.
